Two-column CV templates

A sidebar buys you space: the short, listy things move out of the way so your work history gets the full width of the page. It is the right shape when you have a long skills list and a reader who will look at the document rather than feed it to a parser.

One caution worth repeating: some applicant tracking systems read across two columns and interleave them. If you are applying through a large employer’s portal, use a single-column template instead and keep this one for email.
