Cookie Policy

Last updated September 13, 2026

This page lists everything this site stores in your browser, and why. There is more storage than there are cookies, so both are covered: the distinction matters because they behave differently, and only one of them is ever sent to a server.

Local storage — your documents

Your CVs, your cover letter and your interface preferences are kept in local storage. This is not a cookie: it is never attached to a request, so it never travels to a server, and we cannot read it. It is what makes the product work without an account, and it is strictly necessary for the service you asked for. You can remove all of it from inside the product, or by clearing site data in your browser.

At most one cookie is ever set, and only if you open cookie settings and save a choice there. Because there is currently nothing optional to choose, an ordinary visit sets no cookie at all. If you do save a choice, the cookie records which categories you allowed so the question is not put to you again. It contains no identifier, nothing about you and nothing from your CV, and it expires after six months. It is set by this site and by nobody else.

Optional technologies

There are none at present. No analytics, no advertising network, no tracking pixel, no social plugin and no third-party script of any kind runs on this site, so there is nothing optional to accept or refuse today. The controls exist because that may change: if measurement or advertising is ever introduced, it will be blocked until you allow it, refusing will take exactly one click like accepting, and this page will name the provider before it is switched on.

Changing or clearing your choices

Cookie settings is linked in the footer of every page and can be reopened at any time; a change takes effect immediately. Clearing site data in your browser removes the cookie and the local storage together — which also deletes your CVs, so export a backup first if you want to keep them.
