What matters in this role

  • The standards you have worked to — GMP, HACCP, ISO. It is the first thing an audited site checks.
  • Which machinery you are signed off on, and whether you can lead a line.
  • Shift pattern and whether you can rotate. It genuinely decides shortlists.
  • Output figures and audit record, both of which are countable.

Common mistakes

  • No mention of standards or certifications, which reads as no experience of an audited site.
  • Describing the line rather than your role on it.
  • Leaving out shift availability.
  • Two pages of duties for a role that is decided in ten seconds.
